    Missing a Weight

Would anybody happen to have ended up with an extra 42lb JD weight at Tunica? It?s one with the latest Deere logo, otherwise unmarked. It had been taken off at the scale for the 6500 4mph and I?d thrown down a pair of Channell Locks beside it. The weight was gone when I came back for KOH (odd...

    Winners and or whinners.

Vic - I must have an outdated number for you. Been wanting to let you know how impressive the 435 was at Greenville. ...With the wins, but also when it brought the front end up, and walked on one wheel and then the other for another 10 feet at the end of your pass. Hope the bent rim was worth...

Pullers needed at Farm Progress Show

This event is kind of an experiment with only one class and no two of the same model in the class. Give me a call and I would be glad to talk through it with you. - J.P. Dunn (573) 821-6240

    Lincoln Jackpots ?

The Cornhusker Classic adds money to two 5mph Jackpots spearheaded by Terry Vulcan at the weights of 4750 and 5250. This year, they also awarded personalized trophies. This was possible because of the sponsorship provided by Home Town Glass out of Douglas, NE. I got lucky in the 5250 (a class...

    Frame weight 730D vs. 70D

Mike - That's good information, but I don't believe those parts you are referring to are "frames". What is Deere's term for those parts? - J.P.

    830 Horsepower Increase

100hp is possible at stock cid with 730/830 style pistons and matching injectors. If your pistons are good, re-use them with new rings. If not, go to 6 3/8 bore. Marlin (2-Cylinder Diesel Shop), Jones, or Grimes can get you the power with a fuel system.
