    Spooky Oil Bath Air Cleaner on 460

    These are of my air cleaner. The first image is what I am told are spot welds. They are not welds but punched into the metal. I can see right through them. The only spot welds I can find are on the tabs on the inner ring of the retainer as shown in picture 2.

    I know this is an old thread but I've got a new to me 460 gas row crop and am at the point of cleaning the air filter system which looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a few decades. I've got the unit off the tractor, the cup and the inner oil cup or baffle off but how do I remove the filter...
