    We sprayed it with an Aluminum based wound dressing/sealant. Hopefully that discouraged the flies.

    I agree with you. however; these are a unique breed: Aueroch. It's the owner's hobby, I'm the caretaker. Removing horns isn't an option, they are to stay "wild". This causes other challenges :)

    She got tangled up in the chute and broken off her horn, about mid-way out on the shaft. The outer sheath is gone and there were loose chunks of stuff hanging off. We wiped it off and put her in a separate pen for observation. It bled for about a day. It's stopped now. In the moment she was in...
