Took johnnmr advice & bought battery w/largest CCA that fit battery tray! Southern engineered battery cables to fit terminals & cable tied battery to tray. Fired right up! Thanks for all inputs from all of you! -

Since latest comment is dated March 6,2012, I’ll update with what I’ve found to be the lowest price for a 17tf battery for the correct size battery for this tractor: $337.99+ $10.00 refundable core! So dig deep folks! I’ll be looking for a “cheaper” battery since other vendors wanted $400-500...
