    Ford 2N 12 volt generator

    I have (I think) the later 9n-10000C one wire generator with the cut-out can and adjustable third brush. It charges at 10 amps at anything above an idle. So when I run my tractor I just keep the rpm's a little higher. No problem.

    I used the Van Sickle Tractor Enamel with hardener in the early N Ford dark gray. Came out okay.

    Ford 9n stamped numbers???

    First part of 1939 the transmissions had serial numbers. If original, the transmission number should be within a couple hundred units of the engine serial number.

    flywheel ring gear

    I just use the kitchen oven set on about 450F and leave it set 30-45 minutes to heat it up. Worked just fine.

    Trying To Figure Close To The Run Number Group Of This 9

    Starter button by the shifter. Aluminum dash. Grease zerks on the front of the front axle. 1940 with an 8N engine swap.
