    Ford 550

    I have bled the fuel lines.Have set the timeing on #1 (front) cyl. top dead centre. Have plenty of vacume and compression.It will caugh and spit blow some black smoke at first then white, using either,but will not catch and run. My hair used to be black now its white after a week on this engine...

    I have an older (1975 ?) ford 550 3 cyl deisel loader backhoe with a 740 front bucket. None of the nbrs we can find on the unit match up to any ser. nbr. What I am looking for is some info on setting the timing. Firing order is 1-2-3 but it will not fire. Is the nbr one cyl. possibly the rear...

    Identify Ford Backhoe

    I have an older Ford Backhoe and cannot ID it. The numbers I have on the bell housing behind the starter are--018430 and 35012G. Can someone please help me with this?????????
