    Welding galvanized metal

    Yes you can weld weld it. Grind to clean metal and keep your face out of the welding fumes! I"ve used a box fan to blow the fumes clear.

    Quick update, $500 and change worth of electric brake parts/drum hub assemblies/controller/break away kit is in the mail. It's definitely an OEM receiver hitch, It's even got the plug under the dash for a controller.

    On a whim I was looking at adding brakes this evening, and figured out that I"m pretty much gunna have to add them.... but at least the axles I already have, have the brake mounting flange on them.

    It's not a crop duster, huh? Had one living about 2 miles away and from sun up to sun down he was cruising tree top level over the house. Didn't bother me, kids got a kick out of it!!

    can a 4 prong trailer harness run electric brakes?

    It's just weird how it's 4 prong and has electric brakes and he said they've (brakes) worked before. But as "old" said it can be done, although it's not recommended. It's already wired like that and I was just trying to help him get the brakes working. Thanks for all the input.
