During the draining process I noticed that my throttle doesn't close-off when the lever is in its version of the 12-o'clock position which is more like 1 o'clock.     Run 87 octane non-ethanol gasoline. Pulled the carb feed line. Immediate drainage was a clear-ish off-white. Drained until it went back to completely clear fuel. Repeated this with the sediment bowl.

    Rushing around a couple of days ago. Threw a couple of gallons in the gas tank. Melon-headed and left the the gas-cap off. Rained later that day. Any suggestions for clearing the water from the fuel? Thanks

    The engine serial number is WD 345057 PA. Do tables exits for engine serial#'s? In the classic serial# area only seem to have a 20(xxxx) in the left most position of the 6 digits which would likely make it a 1955. Also found a serial# on the transmission directly below the battery box. Pic...
