    the metal line that goes from end of pump got a hole in it from hitting the frame ,I remove and put a new section in but can't get it to reprime by turning the d=steering ,someone said to turn to locks both ways but it will keep turning each way .kept going 2-3 minutes each way then again no...

    I just got it from a retired farmers place that passed away and wanted to change the filter ,I got the pump reprimed by turning the steering all the way back and forth a few times the one thing is that the dipstick is about8 inches long and no marking at all but oil level is about half...

    just picked up 185 allis that's been sitting for 15 years anddesided to change the hydralic filter as all rusted from sitting things worked before the change of the filter now doesn't ,any ideas ,think air in system?
