    Just a quick update. She is running like a top again. Used penatrating oil and was able to use nut on crank to turn it little and she freed up.

    I think i figured it out. I was talking to a old timer and looks like i caused the issue myself. When i was trying to get it started i used starting fluid/ether. Apparently overuse besides the potential to blowit up it also can cause the motor to lock up because the ether dry out the rings and...

    Yeah she is outta gear can roll it and had clutch push in. Still same even tried it with torque amplifier in and out.

    No. I pulled plugs and still locked gonna try putting wrench on crankshaft nut and turn backwards.

    Jim, I am jumping from the battery terminal(top lug) on the soleniod to the lower smaller terminal. There is a small wire on the same lug the battery cable connects to. This little wire I assume must go back up to the key switch? It turns off fine with the key.

    I have a IH 300 Utility and have a issue starting it. It does not start most time with the key, I cleaned all the cable connections, ground connections, etc and still no luck. It will start up fine if I use a screw driver and cross the terminals on the soleniod. Is this a key issue or solenoid...

    I did fill them to the top. I had the problem prior to changing the filters so I thought it may be that the filters needed changing. Thanks
