    New Holland mod 3010S PTO brake wont disengage PTO. PTO OK

    I want to fix the problem but didn't know where to start. Have NH trans drawing from dealer but doesn't help any on this. Guess will just start to take off trans shifter fork plate, then the inspection plate further towards the rear. Will post results. Thanks all. Jack

    Thank you. Switch when bypassed/shorted/ allows tractor to start with PTO engaged. Appears clutch/brake is stuck engaged. Question is how to release it. This started after hit concrete with shredder and stalled motor. PTO clutch lever still felt like it was disengaging but would NOT...

    New Holland mod 3010S, year 2001, PTO brake wont disengage PTO. PTO works fine, but have to jumper safety switch, engage before starting. Appreciate any suggestions; hopefully not have to split case. Thanks, Jack, Bryan Tx.
