    I am up against a close deadline for completing my "H". How long do I have to wait to apply body filler after spraying epoxy primer? tech sheet says 24 hours before sanding but I would like to rush that a bit if I could.

    H transmission ratio

    I will be taking the rest of the '41 apart this weekend and either use the entire countershaft if the pto drive is the same, or just switch the gears from one countershaft to the other. I hope the splines are the same?

    Thanks Andrew,and one more question. I know the distillate head had shorter valves and I assume the gas head has longer valves. Is there anything to worry about for adjusting the valve clearance? different length push rods?

    I have a 1944 H with a cracked 8776D head. I have located a 361479-R1 head for sale. From what I have read here, the head will work. Which pistons would be best to use with the 361479-R1 head and will I have any valve train problems with the change over?
