    Hi I'm rebuilding a ford 8n and was wanting some more information about installing the rear grooved rope seal, retainer. What do I need to use to attach it to the rear of the block. Also is there anything special I have to do before/after I install the rope seal, besides soaking it in oil.

    I am looking for the lengths of the 3 head studs used on a 8n, I have the other 15 but am having trouble getting information about how long the other 3 head studs are.
