1/4" air hose fittings

Actually have two different type one for dry air and one for regular air.
You are asking about air hose quick couplers aren't you, not air hose fittings? If you are not looking at changing all the tool ends you will need to determine the type, you have to get matching ones.

Milton (as mentioned), TruFlate, Dixon, and Parker are some of the better brands of quick couplers. Have you check out Graingers offerings? They may still offer some that match yours.

Replace all of your air hose fittings with a Hi-Flow type (big hole). You will be much happier on how your air tools run!!!.

Who makes a good air hose fittings. Mine are about 50 years old got them from Graingers. Thanks
I use Harbor Freights...cost less than 3 bucks each. Have 2 types so ensue that you get the same type...one is industrial and I think I recall the other is farm.....the connecting circuits are slightly different and they don't interchange.

I didn't have any luck with the HF stuff as they always seem to leak. Don't know the brand but have had good luck with the ones I get at Home Depot. I can't remember having aa problem with a fitting since I switched over 5 years or so ago.

Why do they even make the low flow fittings. I have run across the same with water hose fittings and valves. Someone complains it takes too long to fill horse water buckets. I look the hose over and find the new fitting someone installed that is low flow, replace it with a hi flow and everyone is happy until it happens again.

Good? Please define "good" to get an appropriate response.

That could mean high-flow, corrosion resistance, durability, cost, and probably other characteristics.

Hi-Flow has a big hole, compared to standard. They are used for HVLP spray guns but work great on everything. Snap-On are good, life time guarantee.

Grainger is the highest place to buy anything. Even the same brand products can be found cheaper elsewhere.
Didn’t buy from Grainger. I’ve had them so long I’m not sure where I bought them. Probably from Wurth or NAPA.
