If you can, it would be fun see a picture or two of this 250C, thanks.

Hello mxmotoman, welcome to YT! What is the intended use for this machine?

Can i get some Do's and Donts and a couple watch out for's.
The watch out for is old crawlers/dozers are bank account depletion machines!!! Post photos of the “under carriage” aka track chains, rear sprockets, front idler sprocket and rollers. Then someone on here can tell you if it is even worth spending a nickel on it. Unless you just want to drive it a few hundred feet a couple times a year.
Best of luck!

Thanks much for replying. I do appreciate it. Ill be at location where crawler is tomorrow. Im replacing starter. It doesnt have a lot of time on it. Ill take photos tomorrow row and post them. Thanks again

I was working on a project at a friend's place using his old Dresser 125. I can remember when another friend who is since gone bought it new. Anyway he told me not to turn too sharp or a track would come off. I did have one start to come off but I was able to reverse and pull it back on.

You might consider checking out a guy called ' Dirt Floor Poor' over on Red Power Forums. He has an ongoing 250C project that moves forward as cash allows. He can be a good source of information if you correspond with him. His is purely a labor of love for the money he had invested in it.

As far as dates, I don't know what AI is talking about, but we bought ours new in June of '65. I have photographic evidence of it operating on the shores of Lake Erie when it was brand new.

I have little brother int 175 c part are getting hard to find . Hard work and parts are heavy. I think 250c has v8. Like to see some pics. Thanks
