22 MH brake springs

Anyone in Canada have a source for the little one inch springs in the disc brakes on a 22? They are available thru Steiner and I don’t mind paying the $7.00 price per spring, but the $65.00 shipping fee seems a bit excessive just wondering if there is a Canadian source that anyone is aware of.

I'd check at your local hardware store first, mine has a LARGE spring assortment on hand.

I tried that but these springs are pretty uncommon. Will be heading to the city tomorrow and check a few places there.

You could try any local Tractor sales and repair place. My local Case/IH dealer had some misc. springs.

Search Massey Harris 1000386M1 spring. You will find some sellers advertise the part numbers for these springs which were used by several manufacturers. You may find you can get some from a different brand dealer. Djs Tractor Parts is one that shows that info. They have the springs, I don't know if they ship to Canada, or the cost if they do.

Call Diamond tractor parts in Bright Ontario, they ship Canada wide and are a Steiner dealer. Ontario Used Tractor parts is also a Steiner dealer.

I got some for a different model tractor but the same part right from my agco dealer.

Thank you to everyone who responded. I found some on ebay where the shipping was somewhat reasonable. I will certainly be trying Diamond tractor parts first in the future tho.
