That’s great to hear! I am not sure how “hands on” you were with this project since it sound like you relayed it to the forum second hand for your father. Just FYI, leaving out the part about the engine being worked on recently was some key information. The forum is kind of like a computer, the greater the amount of information entered that accurately describes the problem returns the best and quickest resolutions.
 
Thanks for the update and I'm glad you got it fixed. Yeah, the bit about recent major work would have been useful information. Although it's often the case that a problem was caused by the last thing you changed, it's not always the case.

One reason I am hesitant to have anybody work on any of my equipment.....what did they mess up when they were supposed to be fixing things. One case in point is the 5 or 10 minute oil change. Getting to where I am going to have to have it done (creeper syndrome and old age) and I am skeptical.
