Mine is early model: sn: ..645000. PTO and Trans-disconnect on same left side.

I need to see how the internal trans-disconnect lever mechanism looks ENGAGED and DISENGAGED.

It appears mine is over-centered in engaged.

Thanks.

Good luck due to you having a very unique 3020 with a Powershift trans with pto control lever on opposite side as normal 3020's. Normally damper disconnect lever when damper clutch is engaged is in forward position removing any pressure from being applied to damper clutch pressure plate release bearing & PP operating fingers. If disconnect handle is pushed forward then throw-out bearing moves away from pressure plate operating fingers. Instructions for operating engine damper clutch disconnect lever are stated in 3rd photo below. If you notice pto operating lever isn't shown in photo taken from 3020 operators manual below serial # 122,999

Pictures may be easier. #1: 1-Clevis rod to engine clutch bracket; 2-bracket attached to outside Disconnect-Lever (broken off). NOTICE rear-angle! #2: Lever in ENGAGED position (all the way toward radiator). NOTICE the rear-angle of mechanism. In order to Dis-engage, the top-lever will have to push the clevis down extremely hard to force it to go forward, then the black-knob-stop-piece will engage the mechanism. THIS is what I'm trying to determine. It seems the bracket's angle should be more forward (PAST CENTER-LINE) to not force the clevis down. Thoughts????
