1550 and loader

I finally got the loader on the 1550 and kinda working. When I first got it on everything seemed to work as it should using the tractor remotes, outside lever raises the loader and inside lever curls the bucket. Now whenever I raise or lower the loader the bucket curls at the same time using the outside lever as if they were hooked together. I haven't changed any of the adjustments on the hydraulics, is there something I can adjust to solve this or just bit the bullet and get another set of valves and plumb it to power beyond? Thanks, Chris

Check the port numbering. This may help.

If your loader valve isn’t configured for an open center hydraulic system the working pressure in the system will cause spool shift in the valve. Like the name suggests this means that when one valve is actuated it will back pressure the other causing it to shift out of neutral and leak oil to that loader function. Either something isn’t plumbed right or the valve isn’t sized or specked right for that hydraulic system.

I would hold the inner and work the outer back and forth. The levers might just be rusty or sticky. Spray some lube on them.

Every loader I've seen the inside lever is for the boom, outside is the bucket. Sure you got the lines connected right?
Some loaders are plumbed the other way my 146 on a 2355 is plumbed inside lever bucket outside boom from the factory. Older cat loaders are plumbed the same way confusing setup

I switched the hoses from side to side today. Inside lever works the loader, outside works the bucket. Inside lever, loader lifts and lowers without moving the bucket. Outside lever, bucket rolls back with no loader movement. When bucket curls forward there is slight lift on the loader frame but nothing compared to what it was. Found a leak in the swivel on one of the bucket cylinders, have to get a new end on the hose or a new hose.

This is starting to sound familiar. I had the top cover off my 1850 and put a new pump in it one time and after I got it back together, I had trouble lowering the corn planter and the markers would raise when they shouldn't. The trouble was one of those screws in the side of the housing under the seat. I don't remember now which one I had to adjust.
