Todays funny

I'm 75 and got my first (and probably only) Corvette @ 73. While I don't plan on any track days, I DO drive it...ummmm..."enthusiastically". The 6 speed manual puts the fun back in driving.

If I could have afforded something like this in my 20's I likely wouldn't be here.:(
Ease up on old guys> I have been to the museum a number of times. I suppose you got to see the ones they fished out of the big sinkhole.

I had my heart set on a 68 camraro 327 4 speed. Had one smacked up rear quarter panel. Yellow with black stripes. I was 15 and dad said absolutely no way. Needless to say I didn’t get it. Would love one someday !
My dad said no to a 64 Impala SS with a 327 4 speed. Instead, it was a 53 chevy pick up with a 216 and a 3 speed. Did have a split manifold and dual stacks. $800 for the Impala and $150 for the pickup in 1972

My ex-f-i-l went to high school with a kid whose grandmother bought him a brand-spankin'-new '60 Chevy Impala 409 4-spd for his 16th b-day. Within the week, he had wrapped it around a telephone pole. After he recovered, she took him car shopping again. He drove away with another '60 Chevy Impala: this time, a Stovebolt Powerglide.

A man and his wife were sitting in the living room and he said to her, “Just so you know, I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle.
If that ever happens, just pull the plug.”

His wife got up, Kissed him ever so gently, unplugged the TV and threw out all of his beer.
That came from a cartoon. I posted it here - in one of my anti TV rants a few times in the past. Can't find it now
The parts about the kiss and the beer were added by someone else.
