What’s wrong with yours? The sides rusted out? If so, that can be fixed. Sides cut out and new sides welded in. Or try ASAP , they may have a refurbished one, a good used one is hard to come by.

Yes, it is rusted with holes in the bottom. Do you know anywhere to get it repaired? My tractor guy is not aware of it and we have been looking for a used, refurbed anything really tank for about 7 weeks now. It's the only thing holding me up from getting my tractor back and starting on my project list! Any assistance is appreciated. I am located near Spartanburg Greenville, SC

A good welding shop should be able to fix it. If holes are in bottom that’s a little more difficult but sides are fairly straight forward to fix. I’ve done several with bad sides.

Boy, did I come close to being scammed! I got a direct message for the tank I was looking for, and the price was good, it was available and they had a picture of it..... I asked about another part, they had it too and the price was reasonable - but the picture of it was PERFECT - I mean sunlight rays coming in the shop window onto a workbench - then I realized it had to be an AI pic - I was trying to set up payment through Paypal and got "I am old school - only use Zelle of Cashapp" That was my final straw - it's a scam. I am usually pretty good at detecting it, but I came so close on this one.

So, might have a lead on a tank through Bates Corp - quite a bit more in price ;0) but I know it's a reputable business.

If anyone knows of a legit replacement for my tractor as I listed - let me know in this chat - not a direct message to start. Be aware, I will only use a business transaction payment with PayPal so that me as the buyer is protected in the purchase or through a legitimate verified business.

Scammers - I got you - so you can try, but this guy just got that much smarter.

Who the hell would consider themselves "old school" & use Zelle?? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I've dealt with Bates many times & have no complaints.

If you were a little closer to me I could probly fix it for you. Dealing with those particular tanks are a real pain. I wish you luck in finding a replacemenng which is the best way to go.
