2n with 8n rear end, part identification

Hoping someone could help here. I've got most of the tractor reassembled, but I can't remember what this part is for. I feel like it came from one of the lift arms? Out of 500 pics, nothing has this part

I don't think they came any 8N, maybe wrong. I worked on many 8 N's.

I should have replied back to this sooner. It was a bracket to hold the alternator. Homemade obviously LOL.

That's a good one. The photo in your original post looked like you were holding two break pawls like R. Geiger said.
