'87 Ford 445A with 4 speed torque convertor transmission. Forward/reverse lever seems to really have get thrown forward for tractor to go forward. I tried adjusting linkage (#20/#20A) and replaced all roll pins but even the pins taken out didnt seem loose. If I adjust one way I dont have forward the other way loose reverse. Any suggestions?

You can get at the pins through the inspection cover under the bell housing. First, assume the roll pin is good unless you can see the bellcrank is pointing the wrong direction. The clevis pin causes your symptom, loss of adjustment. From what you've stated, your transmission has F and R. When the clevis pin wears, you lose linkage travel that you can't adjust out on the exterior linkage. If your hands are too large to change out the clevis pin from the bottom, you can pull the steering column and go in from the top. If your interior bellcrank has issues, post back and I'll tell you how to remove it.
