Would like some help picking a Ford 4000 or talk me into another model.

I got my hand controls fitted and was able to mow my property today. Wow is all I can say. Granted I coming from a 60's Deere 2010 with broken power steering, a 3pt that was either all the way up or all the way down depending on its mood... but I was smiling the whole time. I'm very happy with it.

I've ordered a stabilizer. This one.View attachment 149183
Is the idea that the bracket mounts with the ubolts to the left rear axle and then the that arm grabs the left 3pt hitch arm at the mid-span-bolt to keep it from swaying? Can someone post a picture of their Ford tractor with one of these installed? Is the idea that you only need the left side or the right side and not both?
the 3910 i just picked up had them on both sides, FYI.

Sounds likeI’ve found the right model to go with. This one is at the top of my budget but it’s probably obtainable.

The rest I see are $5k-$6.5k but are listed as special utility models. My understanding is that they have a lighter duty front axle. This doesn’t seem like a terrible negative but probably should be avoided for loader use?

My loader needs are basically moving large bales of hay around and filling in pot holes with gravel. Just knowing the type of person I am, I won’t use it every week but I will probably be stupid and put more in it than I should at least a few times till I learn.
Oh my gosh that looks like a nice machine. I don't think that price is to bad with the loader. But you know what you can afford, I don't.

Yes. I really like it. I rented a trailer and picked it up last week. I’ve mowed our 5 acre lawn and even did some brush hogging with it so far and it’s just awesome. I ordered a skid steer quick attack mechanism and plate and I’m going to rig it for the bucket here soon. I also have the rigid stabilizers on order and I’m going to set those up too. Lastly I purchased some steel tubing and I’m going to make a roof that will help me get on and off.

Hold on… I’m trying to figure out what you’re talking about. Which adjustable stabilizers?

Currently there are two of the chain type stabilizers. One on each lift arm. If I install these LH and RH rigid ones then I can remove the chain type, right?
The chain stabilizers don't show up well in the photos so I thought you had nothing, with them having a set of stay chains on the inside will keep the lift arms off the tires
I have this setup on my Farmtrac 555, but had to remove the inside chains when I installed the adjustable stabilizers on the 5600
