Anyone use Davidson's Tractor Parts

I bought a used throttle lever for a 300 from him on ebay. When I got it the roll pin hole was wore so big the roll pin would just fall through it. I emailed him about it and he said he would have to dig around and try to find another one!! I needed one ASAP so I told him I would return it if he wanted me to and just refund my money!!! I found another one at the same time and it looks like it is brand new. Since then he will NOT return an email or a phone call. I am very irritated about it!!!!!!!! So if anyone goes to buy from him, I would have second thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see them on ebay but a lot of large items just local pick up. If you used ebay they will fix it for you.

We had and issue with a guy years back over a hyd. pump for a Allis XT 190 . he was from Minnesota . claimed it was a good pump off a running tractor that came in . paid BIG money for it took a week to arrive i get it on the tractor and hook up the flow rater only to find out it is worse then the one that was on the tractor . And the battle was on . Took me three months to get my money back . He did not know that i knew people who could make his life miserable .

I have bought parts from Davidson, never had a problem. i also use JP tractor parts in Missouri and Bates corporation in Indiana. All legit sellers.

So how or who did you use to get this guy off his behind to do something!!! The lever was so wore out the it would have taken a 1/4" roll pin to a make it work!!!!!!

As far as I am concerned this guy is a big scammer!!!! Who would send a severely wore out throttle lever and expect me to make it work!!!!!!! So I suggest NO one buy anything from him!!!!!!!!! The roll pin hole is so oblong and wore roll pins three times the recommended size just fall through the hole!!!!!!!!!

Well I got messages from PayPal and ebay today that he finally got off his rump and agreed to refund my money. So I am glad that is over with.

I've dealt with him in the past, twice. Bought a W450 drawbar, clutch pedal and something else. It was all quite heavy so I drove 2 hours to his place to pick it up. Kind of disorganized, nothing was pulled and ready to go. Could not hardly ever get him to respond to phone calls or messages.
Then again, where else was I going to find that drawbar?
