Spent a few days on this project I bought last fall. I put on all new blades on the front and replaced several bearings. These have re-packable bearings from the factory and if you a ant they come apart so you can repack and clean them. They are sealed bearings, the seals are just separate from the bearing. You can replace them with a common sealed bearings which are a bit different but work fine.

I am always impressed by your ambition. Thur I put a new air bag in my truck. Fri I did some tiling. Now I'm recuperating! I am amazed at how spring comes to you before it does here. We've had over 7 inches of rain since the flooding on Mar 31. More damage to bean stubble that day than I've seen since hurricane Agnes June 1972.

Looks a lot better than when you come to get it . Glad to see it going to be used rather than scrapped.Jim

20 foot open and 14 foot with the wings folded? My uncle had a similar Case disk in the late 1960s with helper springs to fold the wings, no idea which model it was.

The center par t is about 12', 30 blades across at 7" each comes to 17.5' total. I never measured the span across the back.
