What's up with this style of hub/lug nuts?

It's a normal nine bolt pattern with the smaller bolts, then there were four extra larger bolts.

My 1550 has the same pattern on 38 inch cast centers. The part number on the centers tracks to the 1750's list and I could not find the hub listed anywhere. Don't know if they were ordered that way or changed by a PO. 161806A on the hubs.

Those hubs (standard and dual) are in the 1955 parts manual. I didn't look at anything else.

Those four bolts were added for the higher horsepower tractors running clamp on duals to keep from breaking the hub. Probably overkill on a1550.

My 1550 and 1600 both have 9 bolt. I think the vast majority of the small frame tractors do.

my 1650 has 9 bolt hubs my 1655 has the later style hubs but the 9 bolt rims will bolt up to the 1655 hubs also.
