The jet star is done.

From when I found it in the weeds , to an all winter project , and runs like a Swiss watch. Been right through the engine. Rings , valve job, replaced all frost plugs as that was the reason it got parked. replaced broken governor fork , replaced front seal, did carb, pulled distributor apart and cleaned and lubed weights. Replaced water pump, install alternator and Rewired complete tractor. Did some sheet metal straightening. Was a good winter project.

not terribly hard, got the gaskets from steiner's. some used valves and governor parts from molinegb. plus i welded the manifold and got it resurfaced. never did have luck getting a new grill , called about 6 times nothing ever returned "welters" i think was the place. so i did the best i could with my old grill.went to the decal store and had 2 big M’s made and did my own thing. They had that big chrome double M on the front. The original owner put something through the grill and rad. Smashed that chrome piece. That white hand is a 2 piece thing. So I had to put a piece of 1/8 metal behind it to hold it together then covered it with the decal. It worked and looks ok at 40 ft. Lol.

What a Mm jets star 3 like ? Got one in Pittsburgh for 400 .

They are good little tractors, better buy it ! Plus power steering. Mine is 1964.
