4030 transmission pump

OK one more question
How do I get the transmission pump out of the 4030? Can I take it out after taking the rocks haft off or do I have to split it behind the clutch housing?
 
What type hyd diagnostic procedures have you performed to determine that the trans pump is faulty?

IIRC one can R&R trans pump by removing pump driveshaft out rear of trans case & removing rockshaft housing.
