Case David Brown 1210 Simms Injector Pump Install

Hello all, an excited new Case David Brown 1210 4x4 owner here. Have good memories of the old David Browns here in Texas but have never had the opportunity to get one but finally got the chance and picked up on old 72' model for restoration. If anyone can tell me how to install a Simms injector pump I would greatly appreciate it as I got the tractor without one. It seem the PO removed it and I found one to install but have never installed one and really dont know where to start. I have restored a couple of other old tractors but this will be my first DB. Any help is greatly appreciated. WW Texas

Go to this link and look on page 36 (paragraph 115-118) and see if that helps. I have never personally dealt with the Simms pump. My 1210 has a Bosch.

I have 995 and 1190 case , both tough little tractors that are easy on fuel .

were are you in texas ? i live south east of tyler. i have IT manual ,and a 995 & 1210 ,both have bad motors lots of good parts. let me know if your close , i could help you.

It is called “Direct Message” by the software, it is accessed through the mail or letter icon at the top right. If you have something sent to you a number should appear by it. A short cut to send a Direct Message such as to whizone would be to click on his username by his reply right in this thread. When you do that the option to “Send a Direct Message” is shown, as a shortcut method.

Make sure you change the oil in the pump. Very likely why it had to come off in the first place. No one seems to know that it needs to be done, pumps end up over full of a diesel oil mix and get ruined.

I have DB 1210 with 3 speed transmission and 4 speed power shift with over 10,000 hours .Still going strong.
