1952 John Deere Model 60 Crankshaft

Hello all. I have a 1952 John Deere 60 that I'm having some crankshaft troubles with and would like some advice/ opinions on the next steps of having it fixed or replacing or running it the way it is.

There is what looks like 2 cracks on the radiuses of the journal on the clutch side. They are not very deep at all, and they aren't straight cracks either. They look to be what looks like old weld repairs that may have cracked? The crack on one side goes about halfway around and the crack on the other side goes roughly a third the way around. There is writing on the crank of a guys name with a white paint pen so id assume that's from whatever machine shop may have worked on it. I'm not sure if it matters, but that tractor does have some work that i had done to it, lengthened rods, aluminum .125 pistons, ground cam and a few other small things. Looking to see if this is something i should be concerned about, and if so what the fix would be if it is fixable or if it can just run it this way. Picture down below. Thanks

To me it looks like the throws were welded as you said, but the crank grinder didn’t finish blending it to the filet radius transition to the crank pin side flange. I’m not sure if he didn’t have a wide enough grinding wheel or what. I can’t imagine even putting that crank in an engine. Only thing I can figure is it needed a crank and they wanted to get it running as cheaply as possible and someone offered him this crank real cheap.

It's a boat anchor now. Run it some more and it will get real spendy when it separates. Do you know how much stroke was added? We can probably come up with a fresh welded up one for you if you're interested in going that route. What are you using it for? Pulling or just a little more power? Welded cranks aren't made for everyday farm use.
