White 4-210

I was looking at the specs on a 4-210 and saw there appeared to be an option for a hi flow hydraulic pump, somewhere around 30gpm. Anyone know if that is so? Anyone been around one? What differences between standard and hi flow pump?

While I'm a big White fan, I don't have specific knowledge of this tractor.

I can tell you in general what hi flow hydraulic pumps are used for.

1) Constant pressure. In newer electronic controlled hydraulic systems you have options for one or more ports to apply constant pressure. If you have a field cultivator or vertical tillage unit with wings that fold down, turning on constant pressure can keep the wings level and "in the dirt." Without it wings flex and don't do as good a job.

2) Blower for air planter. You've seen center fill planters with one or two tanks and black tubes all over.

The blower is run by hydraulics. You usually need a special very high flow port for that.

Call Maibach tractor they can help. The original pumps were a cast iron housing (vickers pv15) and the newer higher flow pumps (vickers PV19) had an aluminum housing. I assume they are 15 gpm and 19 gpm respectively.
