Craftsman garage opener electrical advice help?

I have a 1998 Craftsman 1/2HP chain-drive garage-door opener and need electrical help. It's missing the safety sensors, which I can get online, but I need help on wiring the sensors. There are three low-voltage screws on the unit, numbered 1-2-3. If anyone knows which wires go to which screws, or if someone has a 1998 or a little later Craftsman or Chamberlain or Liftmaster, could you check the low-voltage connections on the unit and advise what goes to 1 and 2 and 3?

(I had three 30-or-so-years old Stanley openers all go bad within a matter of weeks of each other last fall -- including busted plastic gear parts that are not available. Talk about perfectly timed obsolescence! I hope to use the Craftsman -- Model 139.53650 made by Chamberlain -- to replace one of the dead Stanleys. My research suggests the Stanley sensors won't swap onto the Craftsman. Thanks for any help.)

Mine is a little older about 1997 or 98. But all the old chain drives look about the same. The remote switch is connected to one and to two and the safety sensors ae each connected to two and three. Hope this helps. BobTx

Thank you for the quick info, Bob. This may be exactly what I need to get the old thing going (when I get around to it).

God bless Texas.
