Ferguson TO-30 Belt pulley adaptor?

A local ad lists a belt pulley adapter for a Ferguson TO-30 for sale. Seller said he thought it would fit a TO-20 also. Didn't know anything about it so I started looking for information. Everything I've seen so far only references a "pulley adapter for a TO-20". Nothing about a 30. These WILL fit both tho right? The pulley on this one is a steel, center grooved pulley. I've got a 30 and just wanted to be sure before I go any further. Thank you. Greg

One thing I am sure of is, know if it will fit you PTO shaft.
Belt pulley I am familiar with fit the 1 1/8 inch PTO shaft.

Two points I'm familiar with apply to the English tractors but might also pertain to your question . The PTO shafts of the earlier grey tractors are smaller ; yes a pto adapter could be used , but , the pulley is designed to bolt directly to the tractor transmission case , an adapter will make it stick out too far and a spacer would have to be fabricated . The sleeve type adapters fit but shatter and when they do they ruin the splines of the shaft and pulley socket .
To use it effectively you must replace the entire pto shaft with the larger upgraded version .

It was good to find out about the 2 sizes of PTO's. I measured my PTO shaft Fri. and found out it was 1 3/8". Messaged the guy and his adapter was 1 1 1/8"! Claimed he didn't know there was a difference...but I see he hasn't added that bit of information to the ad either. It would be nice for a potential buyer to know that fact!
