My front axle housing pin bore is worn at the bottom of the bores by 0.098 at the front and 0.026 at the rear. The fix will be to bore it out and install sleeves. Any suggestions how to do that? I have a RF30 mill drill, a 7" swing Logan 200 lathe and a 50mm, 1/2 shank boring head. I just bought a 3/4 x 5-1/2 boring bar I could cut down to fit the boring head.

Yes, that stuff was recommended a few times. How did you bore it out?
Don't need to bore it will flow in the low spots. Have not worked on a TO30, but this pin is supposed to be a press fit, or just rides in the bore? On the 4020 the bushings were wore out, so held the bushing to the good part of the bore and fill in with JB.

Pin is a 0.010 loose fit in the housing bore. If you bond it in, subsequent dissassembly would be difficult or impossible, thus the bushings.
