Ford 8700 dual hubs?

Do duals limit your ability to make tight turns with drag implements as compared to singles?
What about changing to radial tires and run low air pressure. I saw a Utube film on a German farmer and how she accomplished her daily chores when time to plow the fields. She has 4wd with radials and pumps them up when she fuels up in the AM. When she gets to the field she lets the air down allowing the radial to "squish-out", making a fat foot print and reducing the #/sq-in making for better lug penetration and fatter foot print for less field compression. When finished plowing, she pumps (has an onboard pump like I've seen on other European tractors) the tires back up for the paved road trip back to the farm. Looking at what she was pulling, and what she was doing, I'd say that would be a tough direction to beat.

More modern implements have a longer tongue to work with duals. Older implements might, well do have more issues. And yes it does make a difference, at least a little on turning.

Changing the air pressure on radials can make a difference for sure, but you get into cost of all that. If you can afford radials all around you probably pick a good air pressure and leave it there.

In today’s world you probably go to tracks if you need the floatation. I’ve no experience with tracks but I think it is interesting matching up your soil type to the amount of flotation and traction you need and picking tracks vs tires?

I think the air pressure thing is due to the European field in one place, and farm in the other, requiring travel on regularly traveled vehicle pavement. For going from the barn to the field, I agree....set the desired pressure and have at it.
