Oh come on now. You don't think a bunch of old farts would jump to conclusions without reading a post through.Yup. Without the disclaimer front and center there will be many bunched up undies.................... well, there probably would be even with it, given the level of reading comprehension nowadays.
That's a good direction. When I search for parts for my 2003 Massey 451, the results are generic, and do not mention the part I searched for.Thank you! We are still limited by the old site architecture, but the product details will get even better with the new site. Now that I am here, I have been informing the company about the product details that actually matter and am preparing to have much more information available to help make sure you know what you're getting.
Look at the bold print in Norman’s opening post, THE FORUMS ARE NOT CHANGING! The indication of who is replying to who by a physical placement is not coming back. That was a “special patch” that was setup for YT! My understanding was that it was getting to be a pain to reset it when the forum software needed to update which I am sure is regularly required. The update that Norman is posting about is only for the website access to the “parts sales” piece of their business.I'd like to throw my gripe in. When replying to an individual comment the reply does not follow that post but appears farther down. The old way it shows up directly under and indented. When several posters join with a lot of discussion it is very hard to follow with the replies out of the order the came in.

Use the reply button for posts you are commenting on, easy day.I'd like to throw my gripe in. When replying to an individual comment the reply does not follow that post but appears farther down. The replies are now shown in the order (time frame) they are made. The old Classic format put a new reply to an old post back in time to follow the older post. Using the Reply inside a text box shows/quotes the post being replied to.I'd like to throw my gripe in. And you can just highlight the exact part of a post you are commenting on and hit reply like I did here.it is very hard
I believe you're implying our website is not secure due to being old.We needed to upgrade the forum site for our security.
No way could we go on with the old site and keep things secure.
Yet the parts side of the site where you enter all your personal information
Name address phone credit card info is the same old site it has always been.

Thanks for your work on this Norman.Hi Everyone,
I am very excited to announce to you that yesterdaystractors.com has a new website coming in July!
Our current website was built on technology from 1995. Since I have been hired on as the general manager, I have advocated for a new website platform that retains our legacy feel, but has big improvements on navigation, and user experience.
We have been working behind the scenes for several months to bring you what I believe will be the best website on the internet for the Antique Tractor Hobby.
We will be bringing in parts, information, and inspiration all into one place with a sensible and easy way to navigate from your phone, tablet, or computer. The forum here is not changing, only our website store.
I am open to any feedback any of you might have for our new website.
What would you like to see?
What does our current website have you that like?
What does our current website have that you don't like?
