New yesterdaystractors.com website coming in July!

No I’m not implying your website is unsafe.
My point has always been that the forum was changed for reasons other than security.
More like we don’t have time to work on an old forum daily to keep it working so we need a new forum that basically takes care of itself.

But let’s assume the forum was updated for security reasons just to keep some here happy with their point of view and comments.

When this new forum with all its security was installed it was reconfigured to work like the old forum. So we all know it is possible to have a new secure forum with the old look.
Then an update was done and all that went away.

So that leaves two possibilities.
Either the new administration are too lazy to spend the time to go in and reconfigure or they lack the knowledge to do it.

Many left the site because of the new format but I really don’t have a problem with the new site. I have taken the time to learn it and I am still here.
The problem I have is the site is the way it is today because of security when it obvious that is not the total story.
This is your forum so run it anyway you feel comfortable with. Just don’t wet my leg and tell me it is raining when you give an excuse of why you need to change something.

By the way.
The reason the old forum style stuck around so long is that what most here used and the previous administration was willing to put in the extra effort to keep it active.
I understand where you're coming from. That was before my time here. After we tackle this website launch, I will come back and examine this forum, and reach back out to the community for feedback. I think the forum is great, and would like to hear about how it can be improved when the time is right.

Be well,

It seems you always have plenty of thoughts on the forum software change, even though this thread is not about changes to the forum. It seems your greatest focus is on how great Classic view worked for you or maybe we should say how familiar it was to you. Back in Dec. 23
when the change over was only a couple days old you posted a thread about font size. No matter the real topic, in the last part of his reply 10 there, Chris Pratt explains why the changes were made. It appears you have forgotten what was written there to interject your own interpretation. Dec. ‘23 Constructive Criticism thread
