Setting the valves on 1930 D

I do not believe that. It takes two revolutions to get each cylinder to TDC, valves completely closed, to adjust and have the rocker arms loose, on any two cylinder engine. Never heard of setting valves that way. I would like to read the process to set all the valves at once!

From time to time I’ve seen a 2 cylinder with a punch mark at this location on the flywheel added perhaps by a helpful mechanic

Check your lash this is for a B but the process would be the same

You do have to be on the correct revolution of the 2 possible so that can be how this gets screwed up it’s easier to do it the standard way finding tdc seeing what’s loose
