John Deere G Starting Restoration

I've posted a few questions on the John Deere thread but wanted to share what @RedGreenGuy and I have been up to. A little over a year ago my father passed suddenly. This was his tractor that he wanted to restore. My grandfather and I started restoring it in his memory. I work on the other side of the country and get back at every few months.

So far with patience and persistence We were able to get it apart without really damaging or breaking anything. Everything seems to be free and moving. We've got good replacement sheet metal my father bought. We've sent off the carb, generator, starter, gas tanks, and radiator to be rebuilt. I'm currently working on the brakes and seat.

I'm looking forward to hearing about y'all's projects and am very open to any advice or ideas.

Brakes are not down to rivets , by about 1/8 inch on top , how they on the bottom? G brakes all new set to me. Thanks for photo.
