Choke hookup for LGT145

I bought a LGT145 in great shape. The previous owner replaced the carb, but the choke lever is oriented 90 degrees from the choke cable. I think it should be a simple solution but I'm encountering brain fog. Can anyone suggest how I can make this work?

Thanks, it's open side. The carb works great, just the hookup is bad. I can see if I can figure out a replacement if I can't find another solution.

See if you can take the choke plate off of the shaft and rotate the shaft 180deg and put it back together. Maybe that will get you a working choke .
