natural gas Waukeshaw

I dug up the Waukesha manual I have, and they show the Oliver/Waukesha engines up to 310 cu. inch in the VR series. I would say it is a Waukesha, just not a VR series. I agree with others here that it is in too nice of shape to scrap out. Steve.

Ya, you'd just have to modify that oil filter base and whatever feeds it inside of the pan.
This is the 1850 we just finished We do a winter

Unless it's a 302. They were used in the late 99 and Super 99. I don't want to say for certain, but I'd be surprised if it was the same as any Oliver. Get a second opinion to be sure. Is it stamped 195-DLC anywhere?

This is the 1850 we just put a 5.9 in

It will fit in an Oliver but there are some hurdles to overcome. I had a VRD330 that I set into a 1800A tub. Only three of the four mounting pads were correct. The fourth was to short to line up. As has been mentioned, the oil cooler/filter base has to be addressed. Bottom radiator hose on the engine was opposite the tractor radiator. The Oliver rear plate will not just bolt on but can be redrilled to work. The flywheel pattern is slightly different but nothing a machine shop can’t make work. The huge problem that we ran into was after most of these other issues were addressed and we had the Oliver parts from the block back, we set in the tub and the sprockets would not line up. The engine sprocket sit about 3/4” higher than the transmission input sprocket. That is when we just gave up. I’m sure the tub could have been modified but at that point, we were just tired of messing with it
