Someone sent me this picture and askd me what kind of tractor it was. I'm somewhat familiar with a lot of different tractors, but I must confess I have no clue about this one. I figured someone here is bound to know, so thought I'd ask.

Thanks in advance.

Notdb, that is a very good eye to be able to spot that cast logo! Or did you cheat and look at one in person???

I’ve seen them in person, but they are few.

EB had the EB diamond logo that I would have expected so that lead me away. The centered pulley and the drive at the rear of the bull gear are different than EB, Lauson, and Appleton. All which look very similar in those years.

The cast logo is for Mayer Brothers Company.

Well.

Totally unrelated, but I did not realize Little Giant was a local company to me, that nameplate is just a half hour down the road. And is now based in North Branch not all that far away, owned by the same family that runs the local bank here in my home town.

Small world.

The members of this forum are absolutely, "mind boggling"........I can't believe the amount of knowledge the participants possess. Absolutely amazing and happy to contribute what little I know about trying to learn to farm since 1979.
