John deere model 30 bale ejector issues

Just got done with 1st cutting hay. Im having some issue with my thrower. I have standard 9x18 wagons and I have to run the valve all the way up all the time. Also randomly ill have a bale that wont even make it to the wagon. Probably 1 out of 10-15 bales. Just not sure where to start trouble shooting

It's been a long time since I've had the 336 with the #30 ejector. Is the filter in the tank plugged? Are the belts that drive the pump tight? Those are the two things you need to check before tearing into anything else.

Have you ever taken the little cap off the valve and greased under it? It's the one held on with Allen screws. How heavy are your bales?

I would check the fluid level and micro screen filter first. I’ve never been able to spin my filter out and I know it needs to be cleaned. After that, make sure the distance valve is actually turning and not just the handle.
