Ford 2n 3 point issues

Hey there,
I have a 1947 Ford 2n. And my 3 point is weak and shuttering while lifting.
I opened the inspection port the other day to see if there was anything obviously wrong with my hydraulic pump, there was not.
But if I put the lever up to lift the 3 point and pulled the control valve fork toward the pump the 3 point lifted perfectly. It’s almost like the fork is not traveling as far as it should to open/ close the valve.
Any ideas?
Thanks

There is a cam follower pin.
They wear a flat or break off.
It is non lubricated in the top cover.
Sometimes they can be rotated.
But, it's best to replace it.

Is there a cam follower pin on the 2n’s or just the 8n’s? The linkage is slightly different.
