8N refuses to start all of a sudden

We're all over the board with no diagnosis. What is the fuel flow from the bottom of the carburetor> How is the spark using a spark teater? What is the compression using a compression gauge, It's too hot for guessing games.

I see nothing about spark. We "Long Timers" remember the quote "90% carb problems are electrical." Do you have spark, & what color & strength?

Although the strength of his spark may be important it sounds like you did not listen to the sound attachment to his opening post. It obviously has some kind of spark but seems to only be hitting on a cylinder or two.
