MF 135 fuel tank

Have a MF 135 gas tractor
In parts book, instrument panel page 150
tank has strap part #193861M1 on fuel sending unit
What is the strap use for ?

It is shown as strap, ground in the online parts book. They call it a strap, but it is more of a bent clip, it is held by one of the sender's mounting screws, and the other end makes contact with the tank. It is to provide a ground if the gasket prevents making a ground contact for the sender.
