I have a used NH 258 hay rake. It came to me with the rubber mount rake tines. I've seen both the rubber mount tines & spring coil tines advertized to fit this rake. Anyone know if either can be used or should it only be the rubber mount tines?

factory rubber mounts do pretty good, after market not so much, yes you can put two on where the rubber ones have three

Thanks for the confirmation Trackrat. It didn't take us long to figure out that 3 spring coils abreast wouldn't work.
