2010 - How do I remove the side panels from the dash??

Seems like a remedial question but I don't see how they come off. I need to get into the steering column.

Side panels are not removable short of utilizing cutting torch or metal saw

On the later 2010's the right-side panel is removable, however it is tricky. Why you need to remove it?

Thank you correcting my oversite. After rechecking 2010 parts catalog see that after serial # 029,001 the RH removal [panel is shown

Again, as stated it is based off serial number. tractors built after serial 29001 the right side comes off. Depending on what has to be done to the steering column, you may have to take the complete assembly off. You can see the exploded views on jdparts.com

Most likely you will need to remove the shifting quadrant, if this is the case the stars need to align and you need a lot of dumb luck to get it positioned correctly to remove it. Remembering how to put it back in is even harder then taking it out.

I just had that panel off a 2010 yesterday. There are 3 or 4 bolts along the front lip of the panel that need to come out. You might need to move the battery to get at them. Pull the front out and slide the panel back slightly. I had to change the voltage regulator that's tucked in there. Good luck

hmmmm..........thanks for everyone's feedback. I think this one is going to my local tractor mechanic. Work and other projects have to take priority.
