Replacement solenoid for my ‘49 8N

As far as the 12 volt conversion on your tractor, does it still start with the stock metal push button on the transmission? If so those are the correct solenoids for your configuration. If the tractor is now started by turning a key switch against a spring to the right as a key ignition car does or by a push button on the dash you will need a different solenoid that is powered to make contact. The original type send a ground signal to the solenoid.

There is only one thing worse than a 12 volt conversion >IN MY OPINION<:
That would be the elimination of the neutral-start-lockout.
This crosses the line from just unnecessary, to dangerous and irresponsible.
